Updated Primary Activity Procedure

Dear Primary Parents,

The after school activity collection procedure in primary will be changing this week. From today you will collect your child from their activity location not their learning block. Please see attached table to check the location of your child’s activity. If you are late to collect your child from 2:30 any students not collected will go to the central area of block 3/4.

With the exception of year 6 Science club, as this is held in a secondary classroom, these children can be collected at 2:15 from the classroom and they will be taken to year 3/4 block at 2:20.

Arabic Spark

Arabic Spark involves Arabic teachers from different schools in the Middle East presenting ideas. It’s a great way to develop and share teaching ideas in Arabic, alongside informally networking with other teachers .

The ARABIC SPARK is a FREE event hosted by teachers for teachers. It is an opportunity for educators to share ideas in ARABIC, collaborate and then explore those ideas.

This event was hosted for the first time in the Middle East two years ago with great success at Qatar International School, organised by Miss Nisreen Redwan with the support of the Primary Arabic Department.

In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading,” Arabic Spark has created a program of local, self-organized events that bring teachers together to share an idea-like experience.

Miss Nisreen and the Arabic staff will again be organizing another Arabic Spark event this year on 24/4/2018. For more information, please take a look at:
