QIS is an English-speaking private day school located in Doha, capital city of the State of Qatar. The school follows the National Curriculum of England for students ranging between 3 and 18 years of age.
The Qatar International School was founded by the Owner Sheikh Ali bin Ahmed bin Thani Al Thani and the previous Principal, Mrs Griffin.
We offer a number of activities, sports teams, clubs, drama productions and overseas trips outside normal school hours.
Most of these activities run from 1 - 2 pm (following on from the normal school day) and are free of charge. Where significant direct costs are incured, these are passed through to the participants.
