Pupils at QIS are taught by seven science teachers all of whom teach general science at KS3 level and who also specialise at IGCSE and AS level.

The science department consists of four purpose built laboratories, two with fume cupboards. In addition to these well-stocked labs there is one small practical laboratory for Advanced Physics and small group work, plus a classroom suitable for teaching smaller groups. The department also has a preparation room, which is organised and run by our two full time laboratory technicians.

The department is well equipped to cater for the experimental requirements of all three sciences at IGCSE, AS and A level.
