Curriculum

The secondary section takes children from Year 7 (11-12 years old) to Year 13 (17-18 years old).

The school operates from 3 buildings with girls and boys being taught in separate classes in years 7 - 11.

Class sizes are small, being limited to 20 children with some option classes being considerably smaller. This ensures individual attention to each child. Teaching is by subject specialists, with a pupil's typical day comprising of five one-hour lessons. Each lesson is on a different subject, and delivered by a specialist teacher for that subject.

Each student is assigned a tutor, who takes a special interest in his / her social and academic progress at school. The tutor is the main point of contact between the school, pupil and home.

Within the secondary section, boys and girls are taught in separate classes.
