The school offers a limited number of academic scholarships for students entering Year 12. These are publicised in January/ February of each year and are open to both internal applicants and students not currently at the school.
The scholarships consist of a fee rebate valued at QR5,000/- per term, and are awarded for two years (Years 12 and 13). The school reserves the right to withdraw a scholarship without notice where a scholar fails to live up to the expected academic and personal standards.
Scholarships are awarded using three criteria. These are, in declining order of importance:
- academic excellence and effort
- personal responsibility
- contribution to the school and/or local community

If you are an existing student in QIS, then the completed Scholarship Application Form should be submitted to your tutor. If you are not currently studying at QIS, please submit it to the School Office together with a completed Application Form and associated documentation.
The deadline for receipt of scholarship applications is 30 April.
Final selection will be subject to interview by the Head of Secondary. Successful applicants will be notified in May.
