Help Our Planet Earth or shall I say HOPE The HOPE group is newly formed in the Primary. We meet for HOPE at break-time; to discuss what would make our school more nature friendly. We have added paper bins to every class to help recycle paper and recently we decided to grow strawberries and melons. We will have a table at the school fair to sell our seedlings, so we will be working hard to make sure they grow in time. We would like to thank Miss Kay who gave us money to set up our HOPE group and buy the necessary materials. We have a schedule in place so that we can repay the borrowed money before the end of the year. Our members were chosen from each class in Years 5 & 6 to represent the students in Primary. It is a very good experience and I ‘HOPE’ that by our simple duties we will make the world a better place. Hasan Badr 6SB |
