I am pleased to be starting my second year as academic Principal at Qatar International School.

This school has a tradition of providing a high quality education in English within a caring culture.  This is something I am keen to maintain but schools must develop and order to respond to the changing demands of society we must be at the forefront of educational development in Qatar.

Our school is now broadening the curriculum, becoming increasingly involved in the community and developing facilities to ensure that our students receive an education which will equip them to face the challenges they will meet beyond school wherever they may find themselves.

We aim to provide opportunities which will not only challenge our young people academically but will also foster cooperation, leadership, a sense of social responsibility and an understanding of the rewards that can be obtained from hard work.  Through sport, the Arts and community involvement our students’ personal development will be encouraged.

Qatar International School is special in that the students come from a variety of religious, cultural and social backgrounds and we pride ourselves in providing an environment where each individual can feel valued and secure.
