Fees for the Academic Year 2008-2009 have not yet been published, as they are awaiting approval from the Ministry of Education. We expect them to increase by 15 - 20% compared to 2007-08 fees (see below). They will be published as soon as possible (expected May 2008).

For the Academic Year 2007-2008 the school fees have been fixed as follows:

Registration

There is a once only registration fee of QR 2,000/- per family. This becomes payable immediately you accept a place for your child. The school cannot guarantee to hold a place open until the registration fee has been received.

There are no additional charges for books, computers, art consumables etc..

In Years 10-13 students sit external examinations, for which there is an additional charge. Costs vary, depending upon the charges raised by the examination boards. Parents will be invoiced seperately for these.

Payment Conditions

• Fees are stated in Qatar Riyals, and based on three terms per year. (US$ 1= 3.65 QR).
• Fees are invoiced termly in advance, payable within the first two weeks of each term.
• If paying by cheque, please make payable to: "Qatar International School".
• Cash, Credit Cards, Personal Cheques are accepted.
• In Term 3 of each year, parents are asked to make a non-refundable pre-payment of the folowing Term 1 fees. This is to enable the school to firm up student numbers for the start of the following year so that places can be offered to students on our waiting list. The amount of the pre-payment is currently QR2,000 per child which is deductable from the following Term 1 fees.
